I'm all about supporting small business and small towns bypassed by new highways, so when we drive interstate we track down different cafes and food places, not just the large highway chains. Sometimes you find hidden gems and other times it's just the worst. This was an other time. It's a beautiful building and maybe once it was a thriving eatery, but that would have been some time ago. Remote controlled boats sit in dusty boxes on a dead fly shelf next to 2 dollar shop ornaments and calculator binders. Ripped cardboard boxes hold open grimy windows. A giant fan turns on and we cannot hear ourselves talk. This random stuff is sometimes so bad it's good, but when it's combined with really bad coffee (we suspect it was instant coffee run through the espresso machine) and lamb gyros that is turned off and not turning in 34 degree heat, things are pretty grim. We chose the chicken kebab - because we were starving and sometimes you've just gotta roll the dice. It was the anemic contry town kebab you'd expect, but edible. I just hope we don't have major health issues in half an hour.

Stopping by here for lunch the person serving was very friendly. The customer service was amazing for what appears to be only one person. The chips are very fresh and overall the products can be cheaper than McDonald's in a way.

Lovely couple serving there on Sunday and delicious falafel wrap! Unexpected, but great place to stop, would go back!

Stopped by for a coffee. The Guy that served us was really nice and friendly and the coffee tasted fresh. I will stop back for a bite to eat next time I'm in Tarcutta.
